The TPFEBC22 is an automatic control system for single and multiple gas boiler installations and for other installations in which a single or multiple heat sources are connected to the same chimney. The control may only be used with exodraft fans. The TPFEBC22 system consists of an TPFEBC22 control, which can be positioned anywhere, and a pressure transducer (XTP 150G sensor) which is positioned near the chimney.
The TPFEBC22 control is approved according to the gas directive by Kiwa Gastec. The TPFEBC22 control monitors and maintains a specific draught by maintaining a constant pressure. The pressure in the chimney is measured by the XTP 150G sensor. If the draught falls outside the set point value the speed of the fan is modulated to achieve the target draught. If it is not possible to maintain the draught at or above the set point, then the control will automatically disconnect the boiler(s).
