While some houses don’t require a stove air vent, today’s more airtight modern homes often do. Houses built after 2008 are now required to have a much lower air permeability, which while helping keep our heating more efficient, does create an air supply problem for those installing a stove.

However there is no need to worry if you do require a stove air vent! Here at Trade Price Flues, we stock easy to install air vents that simply fit through your wall, allowing external air to flow into the room and provide your stove with the oxygen it needs for combustion. If you are worried about draughts being created by your air vent, we also have anti-draught vents available, which helps improve air ventilation without creating any cold air flow across your room.
