Eco Design is a European-wide initiative that has been introduced as a means of reducing emissions from stoves. Coupled with this is a scheme called ClearSkies. Stoves with the ClearSkies mark have been independently tested and are rated 1-5 as to how far they surpass the Eco Design regulations (the higher the number, the more efficient the stove).
